Everything was very good, so were lovely views of the castle. All the staff were outstandingly accommodating and super friendly. Its location was particularly good and absolutely perfect, in the centre of the town, and in a fairly quiet area. Very tasty 

All the staffs were very very helpful and caring. The beds were comfortable, the room was great value and nicely furnished with 4 poster bed.

The restaurant here was good which serves an indian buffet, we both ordered appetising dishes. This pet-friendly hotel offered us incredibly beautiful views and scenery. The location was perfect and exceptionally nice and

My favourite property in Barnard Castle. Excellent value and quirky place to stay whilst in Barnard Castle. Very tasty and excellent breakfast with plenty of food, reasonably priced. Very central location convenient to get to attractions. Also - short walk to the beer garden 

It boasts a gorgeous location; really close to the beer garden which is in a lovely setting very comfortable and relaxing, the centre of Barnard Castle and stores. For tea and goodies visit Chocolate Fayre, located close by.  

Truly enjoyed our 1 night here. We were offered suite complete with old fireplace, a comfy bed and large bathroom. Food was excellent and restaurant was absolutely average. Our stay there was perfect.  

The staff was exceptionally pleasant and accommodating, they blew my mind. The room was reasonably large with a 4 poster bed when I arrived. They provided a very tasty and gorgeous breakfast with amazing value for money-cereal, 

Clean place with excellant and fairly friendly staff and magnificent view of the castle. Well laid out rooms, had a very good stay with 'open mic' night which I enjoyed. Pretty nice area, central location close to the beer garden 

The location is magnificent and marvellous, in a pub where there is enough light to see the face of the person next to you. The staff is amicable, and the owner too. It has a very efficient service and their breakfast is gorgeous with

Exceptionally pleasant and consistently courteous people are working. The location is magnificent and fantastic, hard to find in a pub.

The location in a nice area was particularly good and there were an old market and a market nearby. The local staff was outstandingly accommodating. I had the suite, it was airy.
